BPM Detector App Reviews

I dont know why there are so many reviews saying that this doesnt work. I tested it by running a sequencer through various synths and a drum machine. I tried a number of combinations and it was always accurate to within 0.1 BPM. Id give the 6 stars if I could just to offset some of the 1 star reviews.

Had it listen to same beat repeatedly. First it showed 95.3, then 114,7, then 100.5.

Tried to run it 3 times. Crashed each time I asked it to check the bpm of a song from my music library. Deleted app immediately.

I love the idea of the app, but it isnt very stable. I can get two songs at a time, then I have to uninstall the app and reload because it crashes.

Couldnt detect a simple drumbeat tempo. Crappy interface. Onward.

Just keeps exiting out of the program. Waste of time.

I used it listening to external songs. Tried on 20 different songs from different genres. Not accurate on 1. I get a bpm from release, mixmeister, then Virtual Dj, so we have an accurate start point. It was not only way off but would give me different reads on the same song if I ran it 3 times. Horrible accuracy, how did they test this?

Ditto jjfreeflow. Crashed every time I tried to source a song from my library. Deleted app, and will try different.

Really, what a waste of time. Crashes whenever I try to choose a track. Dont bother...

Tried to read tracks for same song 6x and got different readings every time.

Just sits there "listening" indefinitely. Worthless.

The only thing that worked for me (6 Plus) is the reference beat which can be adjusted up and down. Selecting any track from my library exited the app. Endit
