When I touched the iPod button then scrolled down through my music, the app crashed. When I picked the first song in the list (not scrolling), it just hung there apparently doing nothing. When I picked the second song in my list, it appeared to work, but calculated the BPM about half of what I think it should be. For the third song on my list, it calcucated the BPM correctly. Using the microphone button appears to work ok.
Deleted it. Dont waste your time.
I "analyzed" 6-8 songs of various styles and tempos. Not ONE was right. Not only was the metronome playing wrong, THER IS NO WAY TO CORRECT IT!?! Had to give one star to get this out there, and the concept is the only good thing I can say about this app to justify a star.
wrong tempos, way off!!!
It only analyzes the intro. Thats if it doesnt crash. Dont waste your time or money.
When you initially pick a song, the program makes a silly guess, granted. However, it prompts you to manually increase the number using a click-wheel-like motion: touch the white glowing spot on the blue wheel and rub your finger around the circle clockwise to increase the number. The two blue bars at the bottom, above the very small, unobtrusive ad (yes!), have a white glowing spot. Rub it left or right to increase the volume of the song (top bar) or to increase metronome click (which is supposed to guide you, so make it loud). Hit the play/pause circle in the center to start the song over, tweaking the click wheel clockwise for faster and c-c for slower. Voila! This is a flippin sweep app that has been misunderstood. Dang! Peace, and I hope this changes some minds. RLC
totally off!!!!!
Crashes within seconds. Dont bother with it.
Cant even get it to start working. This is crap. Wont stat a song and just crashes EVERY time.
Concept is great, but it fails, miserably, at estimating the correct tempo.
The app isnt even remotely accurate in sensing the correct tempo. An obvious 4/4 beat in a 90 tempo and it reads 128?? Fail.
I didnt download this app so I could manually pick the bpm...
I tested this app three times on two seperate songs. It gave me three different BPM ratings for each song. Total waste of time.
Great idea but unfortunately it doesnt work. Gives same song all kinds of bpms - none of them are correct.
Not even close
I saw the comments and decided to test it out. Well it worked fine. I had the app check a song 3 times at the same time stamp every time. There was only once a 2 BPM deference. People should also consider that if u are not in a quiet place, the app will consider any random loud noise as a BPM. Im not a developer, just someone looking for a BPM app for a check on a song
Dont believe the 4star guy this is garbage
Nice try but this didnt work at all on a song that is 125 it told me 29 and then 107 then quit on me , if I would have paid for this I would totally lose it on the company for scamming ppl
Tried 7 songs. Closed it didnt work 6 or the 7 times.
